Delhi SG Pipers will battle it out against UP Rudras in the ongoing Hockey India League 2024-25 at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Saturday,January 11. (More Hockey News)

The Pipers enter the contest after a 3-1 penalty-shootout loss against Soorma Hockey Club and are placed eighth on the table, desperate for points. 

On the other hand, the UP Rudras have been in decent form, and are placed fifth on the table with seven points. They enter the tie after their 0-3 loss to Hyderabad Toofans and will be hopeful of a better performance. 

Pool A will consist of the defending champion Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB – Indian Railways), along with Indian Army – Red, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), Hockey Maharastra and Hockey Unit Of Tamil Nadu (HUTN).
