MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out at a residential area in Sampaloc district in Manila early Thursday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.
According to the BFP, the blaze started at 5:05 a.m. and quickly escalated to the first alarm by 5:08 a.m. and the second alarm two minutes later.

Firefighters said they managed to control the blaze at 6:57 a.m. and eventually declared a fire out at 8:08 a.m.
